Students engaged in interprofessional activities can ask new questions and explore new approaches. Working together within their curriculum is a new venture and one that lends itself to scientific study and creative approaches that will inform the future of healthcare education and ultimately the improvement of patient care.

An abstract is a short summary of a completed project research. It usually includes these basic components

  1. Motivation/problem statement: What is the project and why is it being done. What gap is it addressing?
  2. Methods/procedure/approach: What was done to get the results?
  3. Results/findings/product: As a result of completing the above activity, what was learned?
  4. Conclusion/implications: What are the larger implications of the findings, especially for the problem/gap identified in step 1?
